Leaving New York

In order to practise the third conditional i listened "leaving new york" by R.E.M
I find it interesting cause the third conditional is structured with might.
Listening accurately to the song i appreciate the "no pronunciation" of the auxiliaries in the chorus.

"You might have laughed if i told you"...
i really like the song;
honestly i didn't know it.

  1. That's a great link as it shows you just how often we use the third conditional - informally and in popular culture - it's not, as some students think, a formal structure that is rarely used, we use it all the time! Studying grammar this way makes you aware of the pronunciation of it and so it is more likely that you will use it.
    Good work
